The latest Italian date in the KOMM MIT tournament calendar and without question a highlight! In addition to exciting football matches, we offer you great excursions, for example to San Marino or the Acquario di Cattolica. Long, well-kept beaches invite you and your team to linger.

This tournament is organized by FYA 3 Villaggi Riccione and the Municipio di Riccione in cooperation with KOMM MIT.

All age groups play in 11 vs. 11 unless specially marked.
Games are played on both natural grass and artificial turf pitches as well as in the stadium on the sports grounds of the City of Riccione and the FYA 3 Villaggi Riccione. The facilities are of course equipped with changing rooms and showers.
Furthermore, additional artificial turf and natural grass pitches are available for seven a side matches in the surroundings of Riccione.
The teams are accommodated in family-owned hotels/guest houses (according to country standard) stretching from Cattolica, Riccione to Rimini in rooms with three or four beds. Adults accompanying the teams can book single or double rooms at an extra charge (one single room per 20 persons or per team in case of a smaller group). You can also book a hotel of a higher category.
Half board (Italian cuisine) is provided throughout your stay. First meal is dinner and the last meal is breakfast. For dinner there are already set menus with alternatives and for breakfast you will find a buffet according to the custom of the country. For breakfast, beverages like coffee, tea and juice are included. 0,5l of water per person is included at dinner.
Apart from football and beaches, the region offers lots of possibilities for excur-sions and recreational activities: The Acquario di Cattolica is worth a visit to discover the Adriatic’s “underwater world”. Europe’s oldest republic, San Marino, is also waiting to be explored during your visit.
Upon request, the KOMM MIT staff will gladly arrange for you the transfer air-port-hotel-airport as well as your bus transfer during the tournament.
If you decide to organise the transfer on your own (private car, bus, train or airplane), please always consider that you have to be mobile on site.
- Booking of training sessions after the tournament is possible (as long as available, already included in the travel price). Please ask the KOMM MIT team about this when booking the tournament.
Procedure
Saturday | 07 june
Arrival in Riccione/Rimini, Italy, by midday.
- Reception of all participants at the meeting point, handing out of tournament documents, check-in.
Evening: Tournament briefing with coaches and support staff
- Introduction of the KOMM MIT team, programme and tournament explanations
Sunday | 08 june
(Whit Sunday)
Morning: All participants will line up at the stadium in Riccione.
- Ceremonial entry into the stadium
Followed by: Atmospheric opening ceremony in the stadium
- Ceremony with all teams, national anthems)
Followed by: Opening match and group matches according to tournament schedule

Evening: Summary – invitation from KOMM MIT
- For one representative per participating team as a thank you for their commitment to youth work, snack according to national custom with review of the event and exchange of host gifts with a municipal representative
